The Photographic Alliance and The Fort Smith Art Center Present32 nd Annual Photography Competition and Exhibit
Fort Smith, AR - Display your photographic talent by sending your entries to the Photographic Alliance's Annual Photography Competition and Exhibition, sponsored by the Photographic Alliance of the Fort Smith Art Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. You could win a part of over $1,600 in prize money to be awarded on Sunday November 2nd, 2007. Separate categories exist for black and white, color and other alternative methods for processing (computer enhanced, Polaroid transfer and tinted, etc.) This contest is open to all photographers, amateur and professional. Entries will be accepted Tuesday, October 7th, 2007 through Saturday, October 25th, 2008 during regular Art Center hours (9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday) The exhibit will run from Sunday, November 2nd through Wednesday, November, 26th, 2008. All entries must be original and not previously entered in this competition. Entries must be suitable for viewing by audiences of all ages. There is an entry fee of $20.00 required per person for one and/or two photographs. Maximum of two photographs per photographer. Prints only will be accepted - no smaller than 5" by 7" and no larger than 20" by 24" image size. The print must be matted, framed and wired for hanging. No saw tooth hangers will be accepted. Any other form will be rejected. Mailed entries must include return postage.
