| The Photographic Alliance supports two types of contests,
member only
contests and contests open to the public.
Member only contests are designed for competition between members of the
Photographic Alliance and to act as a learning and critiquing tool as much as a
competition. There are three types of competition for members, monthly
contests, quarterly contests and the scavenger hunt each with it's own
rules.
The Photographic Alliance also hosts in partnership with the Fort Smith Art
Center, the Annual Photo competition which draws more than 200 entries from
around the country and even international.
Members of the Photographic Alliance also Participate in many local photo
contests sponsored by area business and organizations.
